What is My Diet Wiz?
My Diet Wiz is software for your computer designed to make it easy for you to lose weight, and keep it off! It is a great tool for getting educated about how many calories are in different foods and what it actualy takes to lose weight.
How does it work?
My Diet Wiz keeps track of your daily food intake and body weight. A custom personal diet plan is created for each user, using functions that include calculation of metabolic rate, nutrient intake levels, and user goals.
Does using My Diet Wiz take a lot of time?
Not at all. Daily weight and food entry does not take much time. You can speed things up by entering foods that you consume on a regular basis into the Favorite Foods list. Another way to enter foods faster is to use the Recipe Entry function to save a food that is made up of different ingredients or foods. That way you don't have to enter individual ingredients or foods every time.
What Diet will My Diet Wiz work with?
Can I use My Diet Wiz to maintain my current weight?
Yes, all you have to do is set the Target Weight same as your current weight.
Can I use My Diet Wiz to gain weight?
Yes, just set you Target Weight higher than your current weight.
How do I install and run the software?
- Download the My Diet Wiz setup file to your computer.
- Click and Run the downloaded setup file as administrator or a user with administrator privileges, if running Windows NT, 2000 or XP. With Vista or Windows 7, run setup as admistrator or if installing as regular user, supply administrator password when asked for.
- The program will install.
- Run the installed My Diet Wiz program.
- When you run the program for the first time click on Start as New User to register as the first user.
- Also use the Start as New User button to register any additional users.
- After filling out the New User screen information the Diet Target screen will open.
- Set your targets in the Diet Target screen.
- You are now ready to use My Diet Wiz.
What is the difference between the Trial version and the Registered version?
Functionally, the Trial version is the same as the Registered version. The only difference is that the Trial version is time limited.

What is the Upgrade Policy?
- Updates: Changes in minor revision numbers, for example 1.1.x to 1.2.x , are considered Updates and are free to registered users of the same major revision number.
- Upgrades: Changes in major revision numbers, for example 1.x.x to 2.x.x , are considered Upgrades and will be available to registered users of a previous major revision release, at a discount to the regular price.
